Growth hormones are basically used the same way, primarily used in beef production, it speeds up growth so the producer spends less time raising the animal. If you buy your meats from Avis Acres you can have the piece of mind that the meat is antibiotic and growth hormone free!! Additionally, we have changed to non gmo feed for chickens and pigs.
